Hero vs. Villain
We discussed the differences between a hero and a villain, and now it is time for you to put your ideas to good use.
You will be expected to come up with an idea for a hero and a villain and express their story in one of the following choices:
1. Comic Book - You must be able to draw the story you are trying to tell so that when I pick it up to read it I am able to understand your characters. Make sure that you have a good idea about what your characters will look like and what story you are telling.
2. Children's story - You must be able to tell a hero vs. villain story that is appropriate for children. You must also find or illustrate your story so that a child will be able to see what story you are telling as it is being read to him/her.
3. Movie - You must come up with an idea for a movie and write a screenplay for your hero vs. villain story. You need to explain what your characters will look like, describe the setting of the story, as well as discuss what kind of hero and villain your movie is about. Since you are not actually making a movie it is important that you make sure to fill your screenplay with as many details as possible.
4. Short Story - Come up with an idea for your hero vs. villain and write a short story. You must have well thought out storyline and be able to tell the story so that the reader can see in his/her head what your characters are doing.
I am not going to put a length on this assignment, but you must be able to proficiently tell your story leaving very few questions at the end.
If you have a different idea for how you would like to complete this project dicuss it with me before you to get approval.
